PArramatta Powerhouse
This series documents the final stages of construction of Parramatta Powerhouse, one of Australia’s most significant cultural infrastructure projects and the largest investment in cultural infrastructure since the Sydney Opera House.
Captured during a single site visit, the photography focused on clearly representing the scale, structure and material character of the building while balancing broader contextual views with detailed studies of key architectural and construction elements.
The project formed part of an ongoing body of work exploring major civic, cultural and infrastructure projects through photography.
